We started this program as we have seen an increase of young girls who are forced to drop school and work as house girls (domestic workers).Through WADADA CENTER with the help of the government we try help these young girls to be taken back to school and the ones who are well matured are given skills in different aspects hence Girl Child Education.
Therefore this Initiative seeks to build up strategic efforts to increase awareness, skills and knowledge specifically that will contribute towards increasing rights, entitlements and economic opportunities of young female domestic workers and ensure the young ones get their right to have Education. . Other initiatives include the following:
- Improving the working conditions of the domestic workers and enhance their socio- economic growth taking into cognize that this is a form of employment.
- Capacity building of young female domestic workers on hands on skills training, life skills, Home management, child care, basic catering and financial management and Savings
